In our efforts to bring veteran stories and artifacts into the classroom, we work throughout the year to assist teachers in a variety of ways.
Teacher Conference
We are looking forward to our 1st annual teacher conference July 23-27, 2015. Thirty teachers will assemble to honor our veterans and create lesson plans that engage students with their stories. If you would like to be a part of our next conference, please contact us.
Lesson Plans
Our goal is to provide a bank of outstanding lesson plans for all educators. As our mission grows in strength, we will be able to include more lesson plans on this site. So, return frequently for updates and contact us if you are interested in contributing.
Interview Initiative
We encourage everyone to get out there and interview your local veterans. We have provided a toolkit for setting up your own interview day, and we continue to add resources for those looking to contribute to the lasting legacy of our veterans. We are also partnering with Witness to War to ensure that all Korean War veterans get a chance to have their voices heard.
